Christmas is coming. Many Estonian artists are going on specially prepared Christmas tours where they are going to sing carols and other winter songs. Of course, Lenna is also going on such tour called Pühad on saabunud linna (Holidays arrived in town), together with Ott Lepland and Lydia Rahula’s boys choir. The tour will come to 4 Estonian cities-
December 15th – Tori kirik; begins at 19.00
December 18th – Viljandi Pauluse kirik; begins at 19.00
December 19th – Rapla kirik; begins at 19.00
December 23rd – Tartu Jaani kirik; first concert begins at 16.00 and second concert begins at 19.00
December 26th – Kaarli kirik, Tallinn; first concert begins at 16.00 and second concert begins at 19.00
Tickets for concerts in Tori, Viljandi, Rapla and Tartu cost 175 EEK and in Tallinn – 195 EEK. Discounted tickets cost 165 EEK and the tickets for children will be sold for 100 EEK. Tickets will be available to buy on the place of the concert and before the performance. The entrance opens 1 hour before the beginning of the show.
Maybe now, during the commotion of Christmas, people would be able to take some time off and while listening to the classical christmas songs, think about some other things, like about those dear people you can’t visit during this Christmas– says Lenna in connection to her upcoming tour. If we are already at the subject of Lenna’s co-operation with Ott Lepland, there’s something more worth sharing. During Leigo Järvemuusika Festival 2010, one of our editors had made an interview with Ott. When he was asked if there’s any artist in Estonia he would like to co-operate with, he answered that there are plans that he would record a song with Lenna.
