Tallinn has been blessed with the seaside location, so use this and take a walk to the pier in the city or Pirita beach.
Grab a snack and something to drink, find a seat, breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the view. Another thing you shouldn’t miss is the old town, which is absolutely one of the most unique in the whole world. In case a long sightseeing trip should get you hungry, try our the sushi bar “Silk” and lounge bar “8“. Both are situated in the old town and serve good food. Lately a branch of Italian fast food chain “Vapiano” was opened in Tallinn, and has proven to be popular among the local crowd for nice atmosphere and affordable prices.
For party animals, we’d suggest Rock Café and also the Von Krahl theatre. Both are active during weekends and maybe suitable for people with a more alternative taste in music. More extravagant shopping urges can be best satisfied in a shop called NuNordik on Vabaduse square – a place where the works of new and exciting Estonian designers is exposed and sold. Definitely a place for cool presents for friends back home.
